The senior quarterback accounted for over 250 yards and five touchdowns in helping the Graham G-Men (12-1) push past Richlands (8-5) 38-10.
It only took two plays for Allen to show why he will ultimately be named the region’s player of the year. He hit Devin Lester on a 37-yard bomb to put Graham ahead 7-0.

It was quite the afternoon on Saturday on Rose Ridge.
Richlands traveled to Ridgeview for what was one of the most-anticipated matchups in southwest Virginia and came out on top with a 31-21 victory over the first seeded Wolfpack.
It looked like it would be a bad start, after a muffed kickoff forced Richlands to start the game on their own 2-yard line.
A resurgent Richlands (8-4) offense proved they were game, going 98 yards down the field for a 1-yard Trey Brown touchdown run, keyed by a long 53-yard pass from Race Moir to Taylor Horn.… Read the rest
It wasn’t exactly pretty, but it worked.
Richlands used a dominant defensive performance to upset 4th seeded Grayson County 10-0 and move on in the Region 2D playoffs.
A litany of miscues on offense stalled a bevy of Richlands drives, but when it mattered most, an opportunistic defense and special teams came up with six turnovers in the shutout performance.

That’s what a collective fanbase did after the excitement of a thrilling overtime game had faded from Gene Malcolm Stadium.
Staring down the uprights, Levi “Fle” Forrest had missed his three previous attempts, including an attempt at a game winner just moments earlier.
This one was true, however, and it lifted Richlands to a 17-14 victory over Southwest District foe Virginia on senior night.

Thursday night’s 45-0 win over the Blues was the largest win ever in the series for the G-Men.
The previous margin? Graham 30, Richlands 0 way back on Oct. 7, 1932.

The mood tonight inside Mitchell Stadium will be a mixed bag.

On, the other, you have a team in Blue who will have heavy hearts following the death of one of their classmates earlier this week.

For the first twenty-four minutes on Friday night, this game could have been considered a touch boring.
But the fans in blue had more to cheer about in the second half, as Richlands (4-3) pulled away to take a 30-6 win over Marion (3-4).

It hasn’t been easy for the Marion Scarlett Hurricane against the Richlands Blue Tornado. In a series that dates back to 1930, Richlands holds a decisive edge in the series.
How decisive? Richlands is 41-17-1 all time against its Smyth County neighbors. That’s good for a .703 winning percentage.

It was a “Sweet Sixteen” party for the Richlands Blue Tornado as they cruised past county rival Tazewell for the 16th straight time Friday night in the annual Backyard Brawl.
Richlands (3-3) used a pounding run game on their way to a third consecutive shutout against Tazewell (2-4) on a Friday night Pink Out game.
