Coalfield Sports OPOTW Week 3: Ridgeview’s Trenton Adkins

The way Grundy running back Gabe Fiser was moving Friday night, he probably could’ve outran the bus back across Route 83 on its trip back from Bradshaw. Behind Fiser’s 336 yards—a new Grundy school record—and three touchdowns, the Golden Wave returned from River View (WV) with a 40-12 victory. Coalfield Sports Week 1 DPOTW: Ridgeview’s Alijah Sproles

Alijah Sproles of Ridgeview had a game to remember against the Grundy Golden Wave in week one.  The junior linebacker had six tackles, five for a loss, and one sack in Ridgeview’s opening week win. The outstanding performance did not go without notice as Sproles was voted the inaugural CoalfieldSports.com Defensive Player of the Week.
