The Ridgeview Wolfpack football team had one thing on their minds on Friday night.  Defeat Honaker and clinch the top seed in the Class 2, Region D playoffs.  The outcome was never in doubt. The Wolfpack scored early and often over the course of the game’s first half and demolished the Honaker Tigers 61-14.  Ridgeview scored on its first three offensive plays and their first nine possessions overall. Wolfpack maul Tigers in regular season finale

The weather outside Friday night was frightful.  However, the Ridgeview Wolfpack offense Friday night was delightful.  The Wolfpack offense was firing on all cylinders in Russell County Friday night in a 58-13 beatdown of the Honaker Tigers. Tigers, Raiders set for battle on homecoming night in Honaker

After starting the season 3-0, the Honaker Tigers have hit a two-game losing skid. The Tigers are indeed into the meat of their schedule and it will not get ant easier when the 3-2 J.I. Burton Raiders travel to Fuller Field for battle. Honaker is coming off a 41-17 defeat at the hands of the George Wythe Maroons last week at Pendleton Field in Wytheville. Panthers, Tigers meet for BDD Opener

  VS. Two undefeated teams will meet up in their Black Diamond District opener on Friday night. Fuller Field at EMats Stadium will be packed to the brim when the Twin Valley Panthers travel to take on the Honaker Tigers. Twin Valley has had a phenomenal season so far. Honaker is the first team from the Commonwealth of Virginia the Panthers have faced.
