Generals surrender to Wolfpack on the Ridge

It was a happy Homecoming 2019 on the Ridge Friday night for the homestanding Ridgeview Wolfpack.  Ridgeview dominated on both sides of the game Friday night with a 55-6 drubbing of the Lee High Generals. Wolfpack maul Generals, 49-7

Heading into Friday night’s Mountain 7 District clash with the Lee High Generals, most folks wondered if the Wolfpack would have a letdown after  defeating the Union Bears the week before. 48 minutes later, the Wolfpack delivered an emphatic answer with a 49-7 thrashing of the Generals in Ben Hur. Rebels, Generals set for war in West Virginia

   vs.  After a two game skid, the Hurley Rebels retreated home to Smiley Ratliff Field at The Cliff with hopes to return to the win column.   Much to the liking of the Rebels faithful, Hurley opened their home slate with a 16-6 victory over the RiverView Raiders last Thursday.   This game, as many throughout the region, was pushed up a day in order to say ahead of the expected weather of Hurricane Florence.… Read the rest
