The Warrior train is rolling, but the visiting Wave from Grundy hope to derail that train. Friday’s semi final showdown has Grundy making the trek to Warrior Stadium in hopes of pulling off the shocking upset and ended the Warrior’s holes of a state title.
Chilhowie has made a habit of steamolling opponents en route to 11 straight wins, all coming by at least 23 points.…

Chilhowie starts its quest for their first state title since 1970 this week in their playoff opener when they host the Eastside Spartans in a rematch from week seven. The Warriors rolled the Spartans in Coeburn, 46-7 in the regular season. This week may prove to be more difficult for Eastside, as the 8th seed must travel to Chilhowie for their date with the undefeated Warriors.…

With a bevy of benefit games on the docket this week, perhaps the most anticipated of those will occur Friday night on Rose Ridge. The marquee features the defending 1A state runner up, Chilhowie Warriors and the Ridgeview Wolfpack.
