In the movie The Program, Joe Kane said it best “Let’s put the women and children to bed and go looking for dinner.” Well, it didn’t take long for the Bears to get everybody tucked in and get themselves fed. Union used a 20 point first quarter to put away the John Battle Trojans in a 54-7 win that gave Union a share of the Mountain 7 title along with Ridgeview.… Read the rest

Warriors visit Grundy to take on the Golden Wave

Central (7-2) at Grundy (4-5) A win tonight in Buchanan County could take the Central Warriors to heights they have previously been unaccustomed to. Hurley, Twin Valley face off in a Buchanan County match-up

Hurley (4-5) at Twin Valley (2-7) 2019 could come to a close for both of these Buchanan County foes on Friday. However, one would love to cap the season off with a win over a Black Diamond District rival.  Both squads are currently riding losing streaks into Friday’s showdown in Oakwood.  After starting his first season as a head coach 2-0, Austin Cooper and the Hurley Rebels have gotten cold, as the red and gray have dropped three in a row to bring their record to 4-5. … Read the rest

Two weeks ago this looked to be a winner take all in the Cumberland which was log jammed up until recently.… Read the rest
