Ridgeview defeats Honaker, clinches top seed in Region 2D

The Ridgeview Wolfpack football team had one thing on their minds on Friday night.  Defeat Honaker and clinch the top seed in the Class 2, Region D playoffs.  The outcome was never in doubt. The Wolfpack scored early and often over the course of the game’s first half and demolished the Honaker Tigers 61-14.  Ridgeview scored on its first three offensive plays and their first nine possessions overall. Wolfpack maul Tigers in regular season finale

The weather outside Friday night was frightful.  However, the Ridgeview Wolfpack offense Friday night was delightful.  The Wolfpack offense was firing on all cylinders in Russell County Friday night in a 58-13 beatdown of the Honaker Tigers. Twin Valley, East Ridge, KY, set for Thursday night football

After a record-breaking performance last Friday night, the Twin Valley Panthers are happy to be back in Oakwood tonight. Much to the dismay of the Panthers, they were on the wrong end of a record-breaking performance. In last week’s 50-16 loss to Grundy, the Panthers allowed Golden Wave tailback Gabe Fiser rush for 368 yards and six touchdowns. At the end of the day, the Wave outmanned the Panthers. Panthers, Golden Wave set for Buchanan County clash

  @ The epicenter for the largest upset in the Commonwealth of Virginia was in Oakwood last Friday night. The Twin Valley Panthers sat at 3-1 and were ready to play host to a Craig County Rockets team that had lost 30 consecutive football games.
