Rebels, Raiders set to clash in Bradshaw

  Hurley (2-1) at River View, WV (1-3) In a Battle of the Rebels a week ago, Hurley drew the short end of the stick. Mark Palmer won his first game against Hurley at the Cliff last Friday as Patrick Henry cruised to a 40-20 victory over Austin Cooper’s Hurley squad. Hurley hosts RiverView in first home contest of 2018

  vs. After a heartbreaking loss in Shawsville in week two to Eastern Montgomery, the Hurley Rebels traveled across state lines in search of redemption. However, the Rebels retreated back from the bluegrass state of Kentucky with a similar result.   Hurley dropped to 1-2 on the season after a 45-6 thumping at the hands of Pike County Central last Friday. Bulldogs set to host Raiders in interstate battle

Photo Credit: Elizabeth Bennett.   The Tazewell Bulldogs and the River View Raiders are both searching for their first win of the young 2018 season. Saturday morning, one team will have that win and for the other the search will still be on. In the 2017 matchup, Tazewell QB Jamir Blevins threw for 273 yards and 5 TDs to lead the Bulldogs out of Bradshaw with a 40-26 win. The then-River View senior running back Bradley Mullins ran hard for 94 yards and 2 TDs in a courageous effort for the Raiders.… Read the rest
