Narrows looks to bounce back against Holston

In their 2017 season, the Green Wave won six straight games after falling to county rival Giles. The run was good enough to clinch the number one seed in region 1C. This season they plan on doing the same after falling to Giles in a hard fought battle in week four. Narrows will host the Cavaliers of Holston on homecoming.   Narrows (3-1) is expected to win their remaining games, but Holston (4-1) plans to avenge the 56-0 loss they suffered to the Green Wave last season in Damascus.… Read the rest

Spartans, Green Wave prepare for Giles County Throwdown

Pearisburg will look like a ghost town Friday. Why you may ask? All of the Spartan fans will be at Harry Ragsdale Field in Narrows. Giles (1-2) will travel five miles down 460 to face their arch rival, Narrows (3-0). While the series is lopsided, this is always an exciting game with a huge turnout. 2002 was the last time the Green Wave was victorious against the Spartans.
